The Political Action Committee of The Greater Detroit Building and Construction Trades Council has recommended Steve Bieda as “Eminently Qualified” to is membership in the up-coming August 3rd Democratic Primary. The Greater Detroit Building and Construction Trades represents the interests of 35,000 building trade union workers in Southeast Michigan.
The Michigan Laborers District Council, Michigan Teamsters Joint Council 43, and Michigan AFSCME Council 25 have endorsed Steve Bieda for State Senate in District 9 in the November 2, 2010 general election.
The Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, the largest Chamber in the country, representing over 20,000 members and affiliates that employ over 3 quarters of a million workers, has endorsed Steven Bieda for the State Senate. “Bieda is the best choice, as someone who understands and can work with the business community to bring and create jobs in Michigan.”
The Michigan Public Transit Association (MPTA), Michigan’s largest and oldest statewide association of transportation systems, representing 50 of the state’s more than 70 organizated transit systems, has endorsed Steven Bieda for State Senate in the 9th District.
Law enforcement organizations, including the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Michigan Association of Police Organizations (MAPO), Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) and the Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Michigan have endorsed Steven Bieda in the Democratic Primary for State Senate, 9th District.
Bieda has the endorsements of Clean Water Action, the Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club and the Michigan League of Conservation Voters in the race for State Senate on August 3rd.
Steve Bieda received the endorsement of the Michigan Association of Realtors.
Steve Bieda received the exclusive endorsements of the UAW, AFL-CIO, AFT, United Transportation Union, and the Michigan Professional Fire Figthers Union for the nomination in the Democratic Primary on August 3rd.
The Macomb County Chamber of Commerce, which does not endorse candidates, but instead ranks candidates after an interview process, gave Steven Bieda its highest ranking.
In a flurry of recent endorsement activity in the race for State Senate for Michigan’s 9th State Senate District, several more organizations have announced their endorsements for Steven Bieda for State Senator; including, Michigan Townships Association, Michigan Medical Society, environmental groups Clean Water Action and the Sierra Club, Michigan Chapter, law enforcement groups including the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police, Deputy Sheriff’s Association of Michigan, Police Officers Association of Michigan, Michigan Association of Police Organizations and the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union.
